WiP Bowling Social

Weekly Office Hours
Last semester’s study break is back with a twist. Join us from 2-3pm in the PSC Lobby every Monday. This is a great way to meet the WiP officers and others in the group. It is also the perfect time to share any ideas, questions, or concerns you might have. Hope to see you there!
Cooking Decorating Social
Join us on Friday December 10 from 4-6pm for an in-person social in the Toll Undergraduate Physics Lounge. Cookies and toppings will be provided for you to create festive and delicious works of art. All are welcome!

Join us for a Professional Development Luncheon with Melissa Midzor, a Program Director at NIST. She will tell us about her unique career path and lessons learned along the way. November 30th 12pm, in person!
Study Break
We are hosting a weekly study break on Fridays at 2 pm. Study breaks are open to all and are a great way to rest your brain and meet new people. There will be an assortment of tea provided; please bring your own mug!
UNDERGRADUATE STUDY HOUR
Join us weekly for a virtual study session Wednesdays 3-4pm. Come work on homework or take a break from homework. We’ll help keep each other motivated through our problem sets. A great way to meet new people from your classes!

Dr. Satya Gontcho A Gontcho is a lead observing scientist for DESI, a new instrument mapping the universe to study the effect of dark energy on the expansion of the universe. Dr. Gontcho A Gontcho earned her Ph.D. from the University of Barcelona and in 2019 was a Forbes 30 under 30 awardee.
